[SOLVED] Netgear R7000 Firmware Update Fails!

1. Disconnect the Connected Devices

On the off chance if the firmware update fails without any obvious reason, then it might happen because of the devices currently connected to your router. These can be your modem, PC, or printer. As you need to download and upload the firmware update file using your PC, so do not disconnect it. Except for the computer, you can disconnect other connected devices from your Netgear Nighthawk R7000 router and try again to update its firmware.

2. Power Reset Your R7000 Router and PC

Next, upload the downloaded firmware file and hit Update.
